The judicial system is oftentimes one of the fundamental ways in which social change is finally achieved. Unfortunately, social activists and law students are not encouraged to seriously investigate which role the legal system plays in underpinning a particular societal discourse, belief and structure.
Leftist law students Lund, (Vänsterjuristerna Lund) is an organization working for social change by working with and analyzing the legal system from a socialist and feminist perspective. The activities that Leftist law students Lund organize range from giving legal counselling to activists and organizing seminars highlighting social issues from a legal perspective, to having book-clubs.

Leftist law students is a nation wide organization, with groups based in Lund, Uppsala and Stockholm.
